Grafted is a non-profit organization that creates opportunities for LGBTQ Christians to connect, build community and explore faith and identity.
We envision a unified and diverse Body of Christ, inclusive of all.
We are an ecumenical, non-affiliated community of LGBTQ Christians in NYC, with many different beliefs and backgrounds, united by our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Our members include evangelicals, non-denominational Christians, mainline Protestants, Anglicans, Catholics, and everything in between.
We offer small group Bible studies, a seasonal speaker series, service projects, organized visits to our members' churches, social events, events specifically for our female and gender non-conforming members, and more.
If this community appeals to you, please consider joining our Facebook group, signing up for our email list, or finding an event to check out.
Grafted NYC, Ltd. is committed to creating and sustaining an open, healthy, and safe environment, at in-person gatherings and through online media, one unhampered by discrimination (for reasons of race, color, sex, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, status as a victim of domestic violence, citizenship or immigration status, genetic predisposition or carrier status, unemployment status, partnership status, military status, gender identity, or mental or physical handicap), in which all members can bravely engage with, and be in community together.
Consistent with this commitment and in keeping with recommended best practices, Grafted NYC leadership is committed to language and conduct that is sexually respectful, and to promoting an environment where sexual and gender-based misconduct is not tolerated.
